This should help.:)

Assuming you run Windows Xp Go to Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager/
Hit the + next to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers double click on your primary or secondary IDE Channel(do both, one after the other), go to Advanced Settings tab, under transfer mode select "DMA if available" for both device 0 and device 1

Nothing a little search can't find.;)

Thanks for the help but Transfer Mode was "DMA IF AVAILABLE"
It's something else I can't figure it out.
I disabled my CD-ROM and the games are running perfectly.

Is your system running a little hot? It sounds like it is being glitchy because the vid card could be getting too hot and wanting to lock up. At least it's something to look at.
