CGI shows up in the strangest places in this 'Game Of Thrones' video

Computer generated imagery (CGI) has been used for decades in films and on television shows to make the impossible come to life. Even when done to perfection, CGI is typically pretty easy to point out when you know to look for it – like the flock of dinosaurs sprinting across an open field in Jurassic Park, for example.

But the real magic of CGI is pulled off when you don’t even realize it’s being used or when it's used so often that you tend to forget about it. Case in point, the above clip from Game of Thrones showing how, in real-time, how CGI is used to manipulate a scene.

There are also a couple of great photo sets on Imgur that show several before and after pictures from various productions. Technology really has come a long way.

Found is a TechSpot feature where we share clever, funny or otherwise interesting stuff from around the web.

Gory scenes are negated by the 'other' scenes. :)
Lena Headey should also do some scenes allegedly scorned by Emilia Clarke.

I consider game of thrones tv series as my rome tv series v2.
