Changing system fonts in Windows 2000

  1. Howdy ya'll,

I have a Dell Latitude with Windows 2000 and at optimal screen settings the fonts are too small. I went in Display and changed to large fonts but that only helped some. Now I have a very basic font throughout and would like something more readable (nicer). I already went through the display properties and appearance menu, is there any other way to do this? I want my fonts to apply to everything if possible.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

go to your desktop and right-click on the background image -->pull down to properties

click on the Appearance tab and then the Advanced button near the bottom

the next window has an ITEM: choice list
for man of the choices, there is a font name and size associated with it, eg
    Active Title Bar

choose the Font/Size and Color desired and then click ok

go thru ALL of the choices to find which ones have fonts associated
