Changing your computer's SID

  1. Well i changed my computer's SID and wondering what are the side effects to my computer's system?

    and whether i can reinstall it to previously before i changed my computer's SID

    If you used a proper utility to change the thing, then there should be no side effects. Yes, if you have an utility that lets you specify the new SID, you can put back the old one.

    Uhm. You say that you changed the SID. What did you use then?! If you used some half-assed hack, then there are/will be some serious side-effects.

    The best utility to use is NewSID from Sysinternals.
