Cheap 64GB SSD for cache... is it worth it?

I am thinking about buying this 64GB Kingston SSD to be used as cache for a WD Caviar Blue mech. drive. I can get the drive new for $59.99 but I have never used a SSD as cache (only as a boot). The only reason I would be buying this would be the $60 price tag so I'm limited to this drive only. I know it supports TRIM but I'm not so sure about which controller it uses. I know there are good and bad reviews on this but since I'm not using it as a boot drive I'm not to worried about it. So my questions are....

A) Do I need to reinstall Win 7 to maximize this drives performance as cache or would it be plug n play?
B) Will I see a bump in performance?
C) Is this even worth $60 (price/performance)
D) Would using this as cache speed up the read/write speeds on a mech drive that is 80% full compared to a mech drive that is 20% full?
