i dont know why this is happening cuz i always shuts down my pc properly , and i wait for the chkdisk to finish a lot of times, but the blue screen still keeps showing up, i even use the system restore , i dont know how to fix this prob. so any help is very appreciated.

ps: my drive is seagate and i put it in slave , and seagate utilities dont also work.

If this is the only HDD in the system and it has your OS on it it should be jumpered as master and hooked up to the end of the IDE cable.
