Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone could direct me to a program that would enable me to check my cpu tempurature through windows. Instead of having to reboot the machine and check that way. thanks.

    Go to my post HERE

You will find a link to the free Everest programme, which will give you lots of info for your machine, including your temps.

Double click the large computer icon in the main pane.

Then in the left pain click on sensor.

Another good program that will monitor temps, volatages and fan speeds that are supported is Speedfan. It also has the ability to save a log of what is going on with your temps or voltages while you are playing games if you desire it to do so.
