Hi Im Susan and I need some help

Hello My name is Susan and I have Windows xp pro
and just recently I have had trouble with CHKDSK wont run with the parameters or from tools to fix and scan it will only run without checking anything, it comes up on reboot when prompted but says disc cannot be accessed directly.
HELp if you can. Thanks you guys :D :bounce:

Please describe your system setup in more detail...how many hdd did u use and how many o/s were installed on them? What file system did u use...is it NTFS? In your case, it seems like hardware failure since u can't run CHKDSK from run function either...

BTW, what exactly did the windows telling u when failed to run the CHKDSK?
