ChkDsk wont work!

Hey all,

I have a HDD that is showing up in all the right places just cant access it. Says "file or directory is corrupted or unreadable". According to most sites that is when you run ChkDsk to repair. only problem is it iwll not let me run it on this drive. Continues to say "file or directory is corrupted or unreadable". :suspiciou

I will continue to google and research this issue but sure could use some help from you IT wiz's out there.

chkdsk bites, do google for better disk repair utilitys
