Choice of Bulletin Board System?

I would like to install a freeware bulletin board system on my domain. Some possible options include IkonBoard, yaBB, and phpBB. Should I consider other options?

Those with experience running forums please provide some opinions. Thank you.

I am not looking for lots of features, something easier to configure will be much more preferred.

hey tkteo, glad to hear that you are interested in bbs for your site. From my experience I have learned that the best way to chose the best thing is to try it on your server and see which one is better. The ones i recommend trying are:

invisionboard -- www.invisionboard.com
phpbb -- www.phpbb.com
vblite -- www.vb.com
