CiD pop ups are a mystery to me

I keep on having these CiD popups and can't seem to get rid of them. I'd really like a little help on it.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

Are you useing one and still getting this ?
IEx 7 has a Pop-Up Blocker in the Menu Bar.
But what is CiD ?

I think most people with CiD popups have the lop trojan, in which case a popup blocker would only treat the symptoms, as they are still infected with the trojan.

I'm not sure what CiD is; it shows up somewhere on the popup. Perhaps it's the company that wrote the code to display the popups.
