CiD Popus Killing me!

Hi, I have done all the Virus/Spyware/malware tutorial and I attached the logs, CiD is still poping up what do I need to do??

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

You need to attach your log files as either .txt or .log files. That`s because .doc files can carry viruses etc.

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the code box below into it:
NOTE* make sure to only highlight and copy what is inside the quote box nothing out side of it.
Also ..

Pay particular attention to this :-

Make sure the word File:: is on the first line of the text file you save (no blank line above it, & no space in front of it)

Save this as CFScript.txt

Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below.

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a fresh HJT log.

Here I did what you asked, thx for u help.. (Sorry for the Zip but it just didn't let me upload the files it said that I have already uploaded the files even after I renamed it...)

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how HERE.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

math win.exe
Defy Time.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [close surf mail dupe] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tick Find Close Surf\math win.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Debug Four] C:\DOCUME~1\TOMYAG~1\APPLIC~1\FORKIN~1\Defy Time.exe

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or folders(if there).

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tick Find Close Surf
C:\DOCUME~1\TOMYAG~1\APPLIC~1\FORKIN~1

Reboot into normal mode and rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh HJT log.

Your HJT log is clean.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE.

Now, turn system restore back on. This will have deleted all your old restore points and any nasties that are in them. It will also have created a new, clean restore point.
