I got a warning about virus infection which prompted me to download a virus removal tool from cloud-anti-malware.com. Please see attached screenshot.

I ran a full Microsoft Security Essentials scan which found no issues.

Please can anyone advise me how to proceed? I am wary of running the cloud software as Internet explorer warns " The publisher could not be verified".

Fake Trojan found

I think I have solved the problem by following the first two steps in the Malware removal guide.
I ran the temporary file cleaner & then scanned the Malwarebytes malware remover.

The log produced was as follows:-

Memory Modules Infected:
(No malicious items detected)

Registry Keys Infected:
(No malicious items detected)

Registry Values Infected:
(No malicious items detected)

Registry Data Items Infected:
(No malicious items detected)

Folders Infected:
(No malicious items detected)

Files Infected:
c:\Users\j*****\downloads\antispywaresetup.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert) -> No action taken.

Thanks to the author of that guide.
