CMOS Password reset

Hello Everyone,

I have a Dell Latitude CPI-A series laptop. I am locked out the screen says. This computer system (number) is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this machine without the password, then the system shuts off.

I tried to reload, the O.S, and tried to boot from a prompt, can get to that.
Can you help?
