Cold start

i replied to this post asking for help but i can't seem to post anymore repleys on it

i turned my computer off for 10 secs and its doing this again i really need help its driving me crazy

Have you tried changing any of your parts around, ie your Ram, CPU, PSU and mobo would be the main ones, you've flashed your BIOS and that so many times, and it still pretty much doesnt work, try changing parts, using different pieces of hardware as a form of elimination may work for you.

Yup i tried diff gc's tried with just one stick of ram and i have only flashed the bios once ...


i just took the processer out and found it had a bent pin so i carefully bent it back and put it back in and it stated up fine ...

i'm not sure if i bent it taking it out though ...

i'm just 2 scared to turn it off incase it never comes back on ...

one thing is my pc is connected to a surge protecter with about 20 other plugs so this might also be a problem nxt time it has to go off i will put it in a plug by itself ..
