  1. Hi,
i own a dell optiplex gx1 pc with a p2 400 mhz processor and 128 mb of ram with three chips of 64, 32 and 32 (168 sdram). these are pc 100. i have just ordered two 128 mb pc 133 rams. Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to combine the 64 mb pc100 ram with the two 128 mb pc133 ram? Thanks.

    memory

I won't expect that to work as the buss speed is to slow for the 133 to sync to.
    sorry :blackeye:

thanx a lot, that means i`ll just have to go with the 2 128 mb modules i guess. i suppose i could fit them and give it a try anyway. that wont harm the p.c will it?
    cheers.

It won`t harm it.PC133 will default to PC100 that`s all.

Um,in practice no.Unless your into benchmarking, your not going to notice any difference.
