Comodo Firewall is messed up

Every time I turn on my computer my Comodo Firewall hangs to "Comodo firewall is being Initiated" and it says the security level is Bad

The only way I can fix it is if I reinstall it every time I turn on the computer

How can I fix this for good?

I tried other firewalls like Kerio and Zonealarm but I don't like them ( Especially ZoneAlarm )

Update Windows XP using Microsoft Update to SP2 with all the critical updates and run the XP, SP2 firewall only

I have a old version of windows is that ok?

I have XP SP1, how could I update to SP2?

This is getting really annyoing, I fixed it when I was on, but when I restarted it's screwed up again

As Tmagic650 states, you need to update your version of XP to SP2 with all other associated updates.
