    This Compaq is Intel 845 chipset "Spyder"? MOBO.
    1.5 willemett P4
    I recently replaced the factory CPU fan with another from Glaciel Tech and something happen to the MOBO 3-pin 12V headers,,all the fans now wont power to full speed, i changed the fans to 4-pin pass through Connectors. And the fans run full speed.

    My question is how do i get rid of the Boot ERROR About the"cpu fan not detected,,F1 to boot",,,it boots rite up no probs,, that error just hangs the POST,

    Boot Errors

    Are there any settings is the BIOS to disable alarms for fans going out? Besides getting the mobo to actually detect the fan, disabling is the only way I know of to get rid of that alarm...
