Compatibility issue between Kaspersky IS-7 and spysweeper

Hi all,


Couple of days ago I installed Kaspersky internet security 7 on my laptop
(OS: Windows XP-sp2) after uninstalling Trend micro-PC cillin. Now my lap top crawls and frquently freezes.

Has also spysweeper installed. On disabling spysweeper, laptop is much better in speed.
Any idea/suggestions, how to resolve this issue without disabling spysweeper. Had no problems between and spysweeper earlier.

In Kaspersky Internet Security 7, maybe you can disable the anti-spyware component and see if it continues to conflict with Spysweeper. If you would rather keep both running, you could email Kaspersky and Spysweeper to see if it is a known problem and/or is there solution they can provide.

I have contacted Kaspersky tech support and waiting to hear from them (!!). Will post follow-up
