So i have a noob question, but im getting quite confused looking at PSU's for my Asus P5Q PRO motherboard.
The manual says it needs a 24 pin main connector and an 8 pin 12v cpu connector.
The pictures on newegg for the PSU's usually just show a picture of the main connector and the cpu power but it just shows a 4 pin, but under "features" it will say either say "1 x 12V(4/8Pin)" or "1 x 12V(P4)" and "1 x 12V(8Pin)" below it.
Do all ATX12V / EPS12V PSUs come with an 8 pin 12v connector or what?
Also when it tells how many rails it has whether it be single or 3 or whatever, what does that mean. I'd like to make sure i get a PSU thats compatable.
Thanks in advance for any help.
