Componet + Monitor, Worth it?

Hey, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my monitor (Planar 17" Widescreen..max res of 1024x768) to a 22" widescreen. I was curious about whether or not it would be worth it to buy one with a video component input..but I can't seem to find any. Perhaps they just cost more? I'm really not looking to spend more than $350 which is what I was planning on spending for the Samsung 226BW (or the Hp w2007 I believe..that was $100 cheaper and had a really nice picture).

So, should I buy one with that feauture built in, or should I just look for one of those adapters that go from Component to DVI?

some high end video cards have dvi output. Consider upgrading your graphics card. Also this question belongs in the audio/video forum. Please post in the correct forum next time.
