Computer does not start up

Hello there,

I didnt turn off my computer for 5 days.
After this, i woke up and it died (it hang up).
Then i took out the power and tried to restart
but it didnt worked. It just made weird sounds (i think
from the graphical card).

Then i cleaned the ventilation but it didnt made any diffrence
after this.

Now when i try to start it up it just blink for one second then it dies again.

Does any one have any suggestions what that could be??

Please post your computer specs. Anything changed recently, such as new downloads. Is your AV and firewall up to date etc.

Its a Intel Pentium 4
3.2 ghz
2gb ram
its a raidon graphical card (donno exactly which one)

Do u need more information??

I downloaded lots of movies, music etc (as usal)
but nothing unusal...

Firewall and AV is actually always aupdated.

What power supply do you have?

And for more info on your pc do this: Start>run>dxdiag

HELP!!!....im having a similar problem...i got a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC for christmas this year from my parents. i havent had it on for two days and today when i put it on after ten mins it shut down without a warning. it wasnt overheated or anything. when i try and put it on nothing happens and a light under the lightning bolt flickers then goes off. theres no sound of anything happening. My dad will go ape if he finds out its not working any help???!! iv got exam stuff on it so urgent!

all i know is since iv got the comp its taken 16mins to allow me to fully use the internet or play music after switching it on otherwise it freezes. iv good virus protection so i dont think iv a prob with that.... whats going on...(in simple terms?!) and importantly WHAT DO I DO?
