Computer error with Chkdsk, internet not working

it reads: the file or directory C: is corrupt and unreadable. please run chkdsk: I've ran Chkdsk on C: and /F and C:/r none has fixed the problem and allowed me to go back online I've tried pulling up Explorer, Google Chrome, and Firefox none is working I am using my other computer so the internet is fine

Welcome to the forums. FYI this is the Introduction Forum. What you are looking for is the General Hardware form.

That being said find the manufacturer of your harddrive, access their website and find their free harddrive diagnostic utility. Run all the tests.
