Computer Freezes Alot

  1. Every time i play a game or if i do some kind of video processing like converting large movies my computer freezes...It even freezes sometimes when i turn it on, it would get to the windows xp boot screen then freeze...I have to unplug the power to the PC to restart it...Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Your Dell is very weak because of the lack of system memory and the existing on-board graphics controller. This is not your fault. Nice job on providing the system specs.

    My recommendations would be first to increase your systems memory from 253MB to 1GB. (64MB is taken by the on-board memory). Then update your on-board video drivers to the latest from Dell's support site.

    You could also upgrade your video by purchasing a video card
