Computer Freezes on Boot

Hi,

I just upgraded my PC with a new MoBo, CPU and GPU and now whenever I try to start it up sometimes the moniter doesnt even register a connection (stays in the standby mode).

Here are the new items:

MB EVGA 122-YW-E173-TR 775 750I SLI - Motherboard
INTEL|C2Q Q8200 2.33G 775 4M R - CPU
and an Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT

I think the problem is my PSU - its a Raidmax 550w one. The problem is that it only has a 20 pin main power cable and a 4 pin auxillary (for the CPU). The motherboard, on the otherhand has a 24 pin and 8 pin. Does this mean that I can use the power supply (I'm positive I have enough wattage), and just get some converter cables. Or do I need to get a new PSU that has those cables with it (the PSU is about 4 yrs old)?

Thanks for any help!
