Computer Freezes when booting

My computer will intermittently freeze when starting up. It usually happens when the Windows XP loading screen appears. Doesnt happen all the time...

First, make sure all the fans are running and clean and all heatsinks are clean.

Check your psu voltages using System Information or Everest Free or something to ensure they are adequate.

Make up a bootable memtest86 disk and run it for at least 10 passes.
