Computer Freezing During WoW

  1. I've been having a problem recently with my PC while playing WoW. Sometimes it will randomly freeze and cause a high pitched squeal and static sound through the speakers. I have to manually shut down the computer and wait about 20 minutes before it starts back up. If i try to power it back on immediately it starts to go to the windows loading screen and restarts automatically.

I didn't use to have this problem and I don't know what could be causing it. I've installed extra fans, that didn't help. I bought a new video card today, which didn't help either.

It's been happening more and more frequently as of late and it's really starting to bug the hell out of me.

Any ideas for what might be causing this would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I can only offer you the same advice as I did in in this thread
Have you checked your event viewer (right click my computer, choose manage, click event viewer and check applications then system)? It may shed some light on the subject. If your system is sqealing it seems something like the motherboard may be dying...
