Computer freezing up randomly after rebuild

700 Watts - XtremeGear SLI/CrossFireX Ready Power Supply

Basically not the greatest; i'm looking at replacing it with one from Antec or CoolerMaster of a similar wattage; just ran a "power estimator" to make sure I wasn't overusing the system, and even being overgenerous in the items in my system, it still showed me as being fine. From a little research i've now done, I guess this PSU has had issues before.

Guess i'm getting a new PSU and hoping that works!

*sigh* any other thoughts? Just replaced the system with an Antec 750W system, brand new, and it didn't make a difference. Even tried playing around with settings in the BIOS to make sure it wasn't an issue there and it didn't seem to matter. What values I could make the system boot on it would still crash.

Other thoughts?
