Computer has been running slow

I have spent the last couple days doing things like deleting old things, defraging, etc. I also took the recommended steps to get malware off my computer. It is running much better now, but I just want to make sure I got everything.

For what it's worth, in step 2 I ran Symantec Endpoint Protection and it found several cases of something called IEDefender, some in files and some in backups.

Thanks for taking a look.

I would definitely recommend changing Norton.

Do fix this bad entry too:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [940ff087] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\uuquitme.dll",
I suspect there could be more on your system. Post a fresh log after removing this.

I looked for Norton in the start menu and in the Add/Remove programs window but I could not find it to uninstall it. Where else should I try looking? Also, what do you mean by "fix this bad entry"? Delete the file?

Run HJT and select the checkboxes, then fix the selected entries.
Rescan and save a fresh log after you have fixed the entries.

Runs pretty well now. It still slows down a bit when I have a lot of things running, but I ordered 2 gigs of RAM and they should arrive in the next few days. Thanks for all your help.
