Computer is not getting to the window loading screen

My computer is not getting up to the windows loading screen i have used different moniters but it still goes black. I tryed rebooting the computer over adn over again.What should I do?

Try pressing and keep holding down the F5 key while you switch on your PC untill you get to a black screen with menu options ,from there choose the "Safe Mode" option, if this gets you to your desktop restart again holding down the F5 key but this time choose the "Start in VGA Mode" option from the menu

if this works re-adjust your display to your prefference

Is this a brand new PC you just built or has it been running before up to now? Dell, HP, Compac or other?

It could be so many things. RAM, power supply, graphics card or motherboard.

does the computer restart when/before you hit the windows screen?

Did you make any adjustments inside the case? You might try taking out the graphics card and reseating it. When you turn it on do you get a normal single beep from the mobo or do you get a series of beeps? More info please

Do you get any sort of writing from the time you press your power button or no?
