Computer not coming on

Hi, my desktop was working quite fine, till I started trying to burn a disc. Then the system froze.

Tried to restart it several times...even unplugged the system...but the computer did not fully start.

Now it refuses to power on. I tried another power supply, but it still did not power on.

Also checked the RAM to see if that was the issue...still nothing.

Does this mean my motherboard is gone? Please note that when I plug the power supply to the board, it does light up, but still does not power on.

What is this desktops make and model?

It's a custom built.

Disconnect the CD/DVD drive's power cable and see if the computer boots

Everything is unplugged now, and I got the power supply plugged in to the motherboard only.
Not Starting.

Do you have the case power switch attached properly to the motherboard? If you do, the motherboard is bad
