I just installed a new cpu. When I was taking out the old cpu a little thremal grease got on the mobo but i quickly got it off. Now when I turn on the computer it turns on, but nothing happens after that. The mobo is not beeping at all....would this be a mobo problem? Neither cpu works now.
Thermal grease is not the problem, but the CPU could have done damage if it was not the exact, correct cpu for that board. How did you select the new cpu, and why did you abandon the old one.
