Computer not turning on... at all

  1. Hi,
I built a computer a few months ago. It has been working fine until one morning I tried to turn it on and the lights ont the front (decorative not system lights) flicker on for a split second and then turns off, the case fans and graphics card fan also move for a split second then stop.
I then have to pull the plug out of the power supply then put it back in and the same thing happens again.
I have tried taking all the components out (and unplugging all wires). Nothing. I even removed the cpu cooler and cpu but still nothing. i have tried clearing the CMOS on the motherboard. I think the motherboard may be faulty.

    Any othe ideas/questions

    Hi swampymar5h,

Compare this list of no POST troubleshooting with what you have already done.

Are the parts still under warranty?
