Computer restarts on own.

  1. ill be on my computer doing whatever, most of the time doing something that involves use of the internet. and all of a sudden out of nowhere my computer will restart. sometimes it will take 10 minutes and sometimes it will stay on for hours. i havnt been able to find a reason for this but i will upload my minidumps and hope someone can figure it out =/.

    That almost sounds like a RAM issue. Are you overclocked?

    nope not overclocking but i did fry my motherboard and some components with it and just recently replaced a lot of parts to get my computer working again...possible i fried my ram to the point that it is that sparatic?

    Probably caused by : memory_corruption

    Please download Memtest and test your ram (EXCellR8 was right on the mark)

    yes, from this minidump the crash was caused by aim6.exe
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: DRIVER_FAULT
    PROCESS_NAME: aim6.exe

    and it says
    BugCheck 4E, {99, 17567, 0, 0}
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption

    so I think the guys are right. you have at least one corrupted memory bar. check the mem always one bar at a time.
