Have reinstalled windows & got a new power supply... the prob just doesn't go away..

This is what i get after the computer restarts:

Windows has recovered from a serious error:

    error signature

    BCCode : 9c BCP1 : 00000004 BCP2 : 805461F0 BCP3 : B2000000
    BCP4 : 00070F0F OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

the following files will be included in the error report
    C:\....\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER3b77.dir00\Mini120707-04.dmp
    C:\.....\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER3b77.dir00\sysdata.xml

    MY SPECIFICATIONS:

    Windows XP SP2,

    AMD Athlon 64bit processor 2800+ 1.81 GHz
    Asus K8NF4G motherboard

the error code sounds like a video card problem. is it an onboard video? btw this would explain your 448 mb of 512 mb = 64 mb shared video memory.
try to find the latest whql driver and try again.

    my two cents

I think thats the board because I didn't find it at asus.com
    but...
the link you posted states this:

EXCLUSIVE ASrock K8NF4G-SATA2 NF4 integrated graphics board (nVIDIA GeForce 6100)

correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that mean onboard graphics?
I am not much into desktop pc's....

    cheers, mscrx

Sorry, my mstake, I couldnt see a vga connector. It must be hidden below the other sockets.

yes, I don't see one as well but its in the text:

it comes with integrated NV44 DX9.0, PS 3.0 and a max shared memory of 128MB.

which also confirmes my shared memory theory :)
