I have a problem with my computer when using USB drive or CD rom. When I plug a USB device (Flash Disk or my wireless internet USB thing) the computer restarts. It was first with my flash disk. I could use my USB internet device but now when I plug a USB device or use run a CD in my CD-Rom the computer restarts. I searched the net and tried the following:
- Right click on My Computer-Properties-the Advanced tab-under Start up and Recovery, the Settings button, and uncheck Automatically Reboot
- I tried to use flash disk on safe mode and the computer restarts.
I am thinking maybe my power supply needs to change. We have power problems in my area that sometimes the power just cuts off when running the computer. About two years ago I changed my power supply because of this.
Or maybe I have some sort of a virus.
Can someone help me please.
