Computer shut it self down

I just build a new computer, I hook up everything correctly, but when i turn it on it stay for 10 sec then it shut itself down. Then if it is turn on right after it just shutdown, it will only stay for about 2 sec then it shut down again, anyone know any possible causes, it will be very helpful, thanks

Are you sure you pluged in the extra power cable to your graphic card? Did you do something stupid like not put the ram in? Did try ressting the jummpers? Are you sure everything is pluged in right? Double check. Did you plug in the the secondary cable to the motherboard?

Also could you be more descriptive on what you mean? There's a whole ton of possibilities and problems with what you gave.
