Computer- Hp 513g, Windows xp, home edition, sp1
Two years ago the computer stalled at 96% done at downloading AOL 9.0.
There was no response to anything I did, so I pulled the power plug. Plugged it back in- nothing came at all, cd-rom did not open for disks. I put it away until today. Now I get a message "Ntdetect failed" and the computer continually restarts to the first HP screen, turns off and restarts again. The start is too short in time for a disk to start up. A disk will not work while the computer is in bios setup. Everything on the F8 screen does not work. Thanks
    for reading.
