when i pull up ie explorer a ad program comes up that i can only get rid of if i go to favorites and click on a web page. How do I get rid of the ad program? where do I find it? Tanks

Please can you give us some more information and take time to use propper punctuation and spelling. What OS are you using? What is the name of the program. Can you give us a link to the page.
After this I can start diagnosing your problem.

Sounds like a Explorer hijacker that has changed your home page. Some of those can be bear to get rid of. But yes a little more info on your system would be good. As for spelling I can figure out what you are saying np hehehe

Sometimes we have to do something the last minute of a lunch break. The operating system is windows xp. The program is internet explorer 6.? and the hyjacker appears to be http://123fluxads.com Thanks

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
