Computer turned off in the middle of SimCity. Bad power supply?

K, I was playing SimCity 4 and my computer just turned off and then turned right back on. Is it the power supply or something else? I was watching TV and that had no problems, so it wasn't the power. It's a new computer with a ThermalTake power supply 420W, AMD64, Serial ATA HD.

Thanks
Jeff

Could be a heat related issue with your graphics card. If it gets too hot it might freeze or shut itself down and the PC. Make sure you are getting proper cooling, and things aren't too hot in your case.

same problem

I play Sim City 4, I can play for about 30 minutes then my computer restarts. When it restart it goes into a blue screen with letters and numbers can really see what it says cause it flashes fast. My computer is brand new, I have a AMD64 XP3200 120GB HDD and 1Gig memory GeForce FX5700VE 256mb DDR.
Can some one help. Thanks

You guys put in the extra 4-pin CPU-cable? If not, the CPU does not get enough juice.
Check the CPU- and mobo-temperatures.

Jesus, is your powersupply strong enough? (good quality, minimum 350w)
