Computer turns on, but doesn't boot up. Windows 7 Acer CPU

Hey thought i'd just start by saying i dont know much about cpus but here are afew of my specs if that helps at all?

I turn my computer on but wont boot up or send signal to monitor, headset, keyboard or mouse (USB ports)

Acer

Aspire X5810

4096 Ram

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 at @2.50GHz

Direct X 11

PS if i get really annoyed and restart it afew times it starts but now i dont want to turn it off lol.
