Computer wont boot all the way

  1. one of my computers comes on goes checks everything then goes 2 a black sceen with a progress bar at the bottom. ive seen this screen on a previous computer ive owned. the only difference is that this goes 2 the end a just stops. it doesnt move as the other would go 2 the xp screen. help

    reset cmos via jumpers. if software/virus problems unfixable, reformat.

    already reset cmos reconfigured went 2 last known working configuration and erethang. no luck. even reinstalled xp

    hardware problem. replace parts.

    When you reinstalled XP did you do a full format?

    What are your system specs?

    Can you boot into safe mode?

    i cant boot in safe mode. will do the same thing. i didnt do a full format either.

    PCCHIPS M810LMR MOBO
    AMD CPU NOT SURE WHICH 1 I KNOW ITS 950MHZ I THINK ITS A ATHLON
