  1. computers/servers in windows domain not password protected

I have a couple windows 2000 adv. servers and several workstations in a domain. One of the servers can be reached by other computers not in the domain through my network places, entire network etc. They have direct access to the server where as the other 2 servers, it asks for a username and password. I am not sure what I did differently on the one server that there is no password. Any ideas?

Check the "everyone" permissions on the shares and folders - you probably left them on or the server uses FAT32 without the filesystem level security.
