Configuration Issue

  1. Hello people out there i only want to ask one thing that is the below configuration is good or not good and also will it be last for to 4 years or not. If no then please suggest me some points of changes. I want this for mid range gaming. Configuration is as follows:-
    1.Processor-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
    2.Hard Disk-1TB SATA Seagate
    3.Motherboard-MSI P7N SLI Platinum
    4.Graphic Card-XFX Radeon HD 4770
    5.2x2 GB Kingston 800MHZ
    Please suggest me the cabinet and Power Supply. Please Reply me fast. I can spend on cabinet and Power Supply only 3000

    Looks good to me and any case you like in at least an ATX mid-tower configuration will work... I'm sure Rage_K_Moiz will chime in, now that I bumped the thread. He is our PC Hardware guru

    We see no problems. Good luck.
    Add lots of cooling fans
    Consider Corsair, OCZ, Seasonic, or FSP Group power supplies...

    I recommend spending less on the CPU, and more on the video card. Grab an E8400\E8500 instead of the Q9550, and get a more powerful card like the HD 4870/GTX 260, or the HD 4890/GTX 275, depending on how much you can spend. Note that you'd need a fairly powerful PSU for these cards, since they suck a lot of power.
