Configuring SATA and ATA

Apr 19, 2006
  1. Hey, I've currently got an 80 gig sata hd, but I seem to be running out of room. I have an old 40 gig ata hard drive that I'd like to connect, but everytime I try it boots off of the OS that is on the ATA hd. How can I configure it to boot off of my sata?

Check your BIOS settings to make sure that SATA is first in the boot order.
