  1. hey every-one, i have windows xp home edition. And my lan is saying that i am connected but i can't browse it is sending packets and receiving a few packets back but there is a lock on the connection icon and i can't browse. I have tried a loopback to the router and that works fine but when i try to access the router via the Ip address of the router is won't let me. Then when i ping the router it says the destination host is unreachable. Does any-one have any suggestions on how i can resolve this problem as it is driving me insane.
