Have you recently uninstalled/deleted and spyware/malware?

In addition to the firmware update suggested by jobeard, make sure your drivers are updated.

Are you using wired or wireless?

Try unplugging and reconnecting you cable connection, your modem and your router. Also try holding the reset button in for a minute. If that doesn't help, choose the repair option by opening command-prompt > ipconfig /release > ipconfig /renew

Are you getting a popup message that says, "Limited or no connectivity" ?

Call your ISP and ask them if they are having any problems on their end, just to be sure. If nothing else helps, tell them you want someone to come out and check your lines andconnections.
