okay so latey i have be really bored, no major projects going on...
i just thought what if i hook my pc (desktop or laptop) to tv or stereo... just so i can play video files on big screen or blast mp3s with my stereo
i tried researching this but there is nothing out there, i found that's consistent.
For TV, your video card has to have TV-out functionality (or another DVI/VGA connection (and the TV would have to have DVI input or you'd need an expensive VGA->TV converter)) and a suitable cable.
For audio, all you need is a suitable cable. Most likely your stereo has an "AUX" or "Line-In" connector using RCA jacks (two female coaxial, may be coloured red and white).
