Control Service window pops up when i start xp

The small window is headed.. The requested control is not valid for this service and inside the main window is Control Service and a red circle with a white angled cross to the left of it. how can i delete this from showing on each start up?

That sounds like an error message inside 'event veiwer'. If it is , you get it to stop(delete) by "fixing the problem" it is warning you about, something wrong with your system.
You can do a search at Microsoft using any filename or error numbers or sevice name,listed in that message.
Or list them here and someone will help.
