Copying favorites to new computer

I will have a new laptop computer by days end. I have an external hard drive and have copied most of my files to it for downloading to new computer. I have encountered a problem with my Internet Favorites, and need some help.

I am unable to find the file containing my favorites on my computer, I found the folder Favorites but it is empty. Any thoughts?

Also, if i find the file, what is the easiest way to copy?

Use the browsers "Export" feature and then store that file on the external HDD. When you've got your new PC up and running, use the "Import" feature on your new PC's browser.

The file is empty, it does not contain any of my links so I am not sure what I would be exporting,just an empty folder to my way of thinking.

But, please tell me where to find Export. Thanks.
